An Afghan Woman’s Journey to Faith in Jesus

Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of hosting a Live Show, teaching from the Word of God, and inviting Afghans to join me for an open dialogue. Each session provides an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about the identity of Jesus, the authority of the scriptures, and the message of gospel of Jesus Christ, especially as it relates to Afghans. Rarely do these conversations lead to immediate transformation, but often seem to plant seeds that take time to grow.

This week, something extraordinary happened during one of my live shows.

An Afghan Woman’s Testimony

An Afghan woman came on live and shared an amazing testimony. She told me she had been searching for my TikTok channel for over a year and a half. As she spoke, memories flooded back. She reminded me that we had spoken three years ago in a live dialogue about Jesus. At the time, she wasn’t ready to believe in Him, but she recalled how our conversation had a profound impact on her life.

In the years following that conversation, she began searching. She began reading the gospels. God spoke to her through the scriptures, and over time, her heart was transformed. With joy in her voice, she said, “I am now a follower of Jesus.”

An Answer to Prayer

I was in awe. She explained that after I changed my social media channels, she couldn’t find me anymore. But that hadn’t stopped her from continuing her journey of faith. Hearing her story brought back vivid memories of the prayers my wife, my team, and I lifted up for her three years ago, asking the Lord to work in her heart. And He did.

Praise the Lord! God is moving in powerful ways among the unreached peoples of Afghanistan, and testimonies like hers remind me that even when we can’t see it, God is always at work. He takes conversations, prayers, and moments of faith and uses them to change lives in His perfect timing.

I share this story to encourage you: never underestimate the impact of a single gospel conversation or the power of prayer. Whether someone believes in Jesus in the moment or begins a journey that takes years, God is faithful. He is always working behind the scenes, drawing people closer to Him.
